Blue highlighting of Mail messages from Apple

Hi all,

I can't get rid of the blue highlighting of Mail messages from Apple. I've gotten rid of it before (deleted all the "rules" about messages from Apple, and unchecked the box in "Viewing") but it's back and I can't get rid of it. I've got the latest update from Snow Leopard. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Found it, I think.

Open Mail's Preferences (Mail menu in main menubar). In that screen, select the Rules item (rightmost icon in that window's menubar). In the list that opens, double-click the item named "News From Apple". A new screen will appear. At the bottom, in the "Perform the follwoing actions" section, is a preset for the color.

Selecting "Other" from the third (righthand) of the three pulldown menus opens the color menu and allows that to be reset to White.

I suspect that just removing the "News From Apple" item from the list in Rules will also get rid of the blue background for those messages.

I've removed it from the list in Rules, but will have to wait for a fresh Apple message to come in before I csn determine whether that was enough.
