I'm putting a video project together and I forgot to use filter when filming. Now during the speech i have a lot of wind noise going in and out, is there a way I can cut this out or filter out? Or even reduce without reducing the speech? (imovie 11)

You could try a combination of two features within iMovie: Enhance (Reduce background noise) and Equalizer (select Voice Enhance) - see this picture:
To open the Inspector, double-click on the clip, or click on the small gear icon and select Audio Adjustments. Another way is to click on the circled I icon in the centre tool bar (next to the crop tool). Yet another way is to press the letter I (I for Inspector) on the keyboard - or the letter A to go direct to the Audio tab in the Inspector.

thanks John. I think I tried these things, and played with them, but all it did was muffle the speaker's voice, but I'll try it again and see if I can play around with it. Other than this method, do you know of any other options I may have?
There are third party tools like Audacity (free) and SoundSoap ($). You can export your audio track, reduce the noise, then reimport it.
Do not expect a lot, though. These tools are best at eliminating noise that can be isolated, like a 60hz hum. Wind noise tends to be broad spectrum and random, so it is more difficult to remove.
