Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I've been trying all day to download iBooks from the App Store. The download starts, but quickly bails with an "unknown error" message. Is this a known problem?

Fixed!!--Same error issue. New iPad2 this Wednesday (6/15/11). Per other suggestions on this forum I tried hooking up to the laptop (already had latest iTunes loaded before my iPad2 came), iTunes started up, went to Apple iStore, login, confirm payment, try to download 'iBooks' it says I already have it. Look at the iPad and it's there.
This fix took all of 3-minutes and all is good. Now to learn to move things around. Newbie here🙂 Thanks to the forum for tips on things to try. I need to go back through documentation to see why I had such a problem. Not exactly plug-n-play, but then again, I fighting the urge to 'right-click'. 😁 Love the iPad2 so far. My first Apple-anything.
