MacBook Pro cannot detect 3g USB dongle (M1)

Hello,

I have a Huawei 3g USB dongle from M1 which works fine with my 3g router, but not with my MacBookPro on version 10.6.7.
Can anyone confirm whether there is compatibility issue between them? Mine Huawei model from M1.
I am able to install and run the program but the program just cannot detect the device.
Thanks in advance for helping.

finally i called M1 Customer Care, initially they followed their standard protocol. After about 30 minutes of trying, he escalated to Level 2 tech support. Here is the steps to fix the problem for my E1550 3g dongle with my MBP.

-Download the VMB 3.04.10.00 software (see snapshot below)http://www.m1.com.sg/M1/site/M1Corp/menuitem.e2f30a2a1a1860b609b422103f2000a0/?v gnextoid=6e2a7cfeda9ba110VgnVCM100000695a230aRCRD

-Uninstall Mobile Partner

-Remove 3g dongle from Mac

-Install the Vodafone Mobile Broadband application

-Restart MBP

-After bootup, connect the E1550 3g dongle to MBP

-Ignore Mobile Partner Auto-start program

-Use Vodafone Mobile Broadband application instead

-Enjoy your surfing....

Hope this helps anyone ....
