Clam Down...Apple says missing features coming soon.

Never underestimate Apple, they know what they are doing. People are forgetting that OS X Lion is a new OS and it has a different build than the previous OS Apple has released.

You overestimate Apple way too much. It is not like Apple doesn't have a history of killing very successful products at the top of their game. Look what they did with Shake. They could have easily rivaled and possibly surpassed After Effects, but they killed it.

Apple will not kill FCP because that is a big money maker for them.

Look FCP X has some killer and revolutionary editing functionality... it has the potential to be a HUGE game-changer. But unless they address the critical flaws in studio workflow, it will be DOA in the pro environment. That means they have less than a year to fix all of the critical gaping flaws in the program... or it is as good as dead.

the good news here is, this movie will effectively kill Reality TV since 90% of those shows work off final cut. of course, the **** industry will also sadly take a dive
