I am trying to open a Powerpoint made on a PC at home, on my iMac. Do I have to get Office for Mac? I have Word, Excell and Powerpoint applications for Mac. I have OS 10.6.7 and Powerpoint 2004 11.3.2.

You can if you have Keynote, if you don't have Keynote (about $20 from the Mac Apple Store) or you can download and install Open Office, you can find it by Googling.
It won't open in PowerPoint 2004, only in PowerPoint 2011. You can convert the documents with Office Open XML File Format Converter 1.2.0, but I've no idea if it makes a 2004 compatible document. Of course you could save the document from the PC using an older Office format.
