Where are the .99 cent movie rentals

I have been downloading movies for .99 cents and now they don't show up... So where are they and what's going on? Anyone know?

Ok I guess I should have made it more clear... My issue is on the iTunes store and when you go to rent movies there are no .99cent movies any longer. I have been downloading them to take with me to work when I need something to keep the long days more than boring.

Now there is no link to that section and there is nothing saying anything about the movies not being offers any longer for the .99cents as they have been. I'm all for renting movies and paying for them but when you have redbox for a buck, blockbuster now and who knows next -- I have a limited budget to rent movies or waste. And since I rent a lot of movies it can get expensive. Any ideas where to download movies for .99 cents?

There is now a 99 cent Rental of the Week. Singular. 1/2 click on Movies (press down-no release) to see it, or on the main Movies page you should see it as a featured item, just under New to Rent or Own. At least that is what I see in the US store.

There are other places to rent, but I have no idea what they charge or what the experience is like.

I noticed this, too. There were a lot of movies on sale for 5.99 or less during the holidays, As a new Apple TV user, I bought a few movies on sale. Now I have a Genius recommendation section but there is no longer a section for movies on sale.

On my iPad, I can still find discounted movies if I go to the "99¢ Movie Rentals Plus More" section, then there are sections for 99¢ Rentals, Limited Time $4.99 Movies, Less Than $6, but these categories don't seem to be available in iTunes.

Starying a little OT here, since the OP was asking about rentals, not purchases, I noticed there is now a category in iTunes that is currently called "Something for Everyone" that has a lot of movies on sale. Many of these are listed at 4.99 or 5.99.

There is still a "99¢ Movie Rentals Plus More" on my iPad. But inexplicably, there is still no clear cateory, or way to search for, discounted movies in iTunes. Seems like a mistake on iTunes part, since I can quickly search for and find discounted movies in Amazon to watch on my Tivo. About the best solution I've found right now is to make a wish list and watch the prices for sales.
