Updated to 10.6.8, now I can't print

I just discovered that with the print sharing on in the computer that that has the direct connection with the printer being shared on the network and in this configuration with certain persons selected, even an administrator, it puts a "no access" on everyone. In this status I get the "paused for authentication" on the print job from any networked computer. see below

When you click the up and down arrow to the right of everyone you get either "no access" or "can print" option.

When the "can print" option is selected all the individual persons added gets droped but at least now I can do a network print job from the other computers and not get the "paused for authenication" problem.

I am experiencing the same "backend error" when I try to print on an HP LaserJet P2055dn printer with my newly updated 10.9.2 version of OS X. Any ideas on how to remedy this issue?

Post in the Mavericks forum, this forum is for Macs running Snow Leopard (10.6.8)

As was suggested, post to the Mavericks forum. However, try reseting the printing system and adding the printer back. Also confirm if there are later drivers that are confirmed compatible with Mavericks.

This is August 2014 and your 2011 solution fixed my printing problem! I print thru my ASUS RT-AC66R wireless router. My MAC OS X is 10.7.5 and I have not be able to update my OS X because my system is old. The printer just stopped printing about a week ago. THANKS for the fix!
