I also have this problem. I just opened up the Mac App Store, and saw an update for Angry Birds. I don't have Angry Birds...

And it also mentions "asdfff2011@mail.ru". @mail.ru? Never heard of it. Anyone know what is going on?

Just go into Final Cut Pro X and delete the _MAS receipts.
Problem solved √

Both ChannelKiSH and Hammid.SE had great answers. I don't know which one it was, Motion 5 or Final Cut Pro, but deleting the receipt in the _MAS Receipts folder solved the problem. Thank you!! 🙂

Same issue here, although the email that's the "other account" is olti_cuni@hotmail.com. I dont have any of those apps either.

Found out that I did have an "not my app" on my Mac. I removed it and the message was gone. In my case it was the game Braid. Follow the instructions on "_MASReceipt" In my case I just deleted the app 🙂

The MacAppStore has been hacked, change your credit card numbers and passwords immediatly and leave it like that until it's safe and your ready to buy something.

Always use low amount debit cards online for just such a reason.

I have experienced the same App Store "asdfff2011@mail.ru" discrepancy, and also, identity theft from someone in Russia.

Russian email account, Russian identity theft. Coincidence? Has anyone else experienced a banking/identity theft issue as well as the "asdfff2011@mail.ru" App Store discrepancy?

just download any app from appstore > show content info from that app > copy MASreceipt to other app that is causing problem

If you've downloaded a cracked version of Final Cut Pro X, that is what causes the angry birds update.asdfff2011@mail.ru . So either delete FCPX or suck it up 😉

Onio has the answer...

Go to a different app that was downloaded recently, then copy that MASreceipt into the app that is causing the problem.

As much as people claim they never had cracked apps, having to change the MASreceipt means you had at least one pirated copy at one stage.

If you bought a copy after the fact, good for you, but this is not an App Store glitch, it's caused by pirated software.
