Is someone Phishing?

Do you have any unauthorised apps? Cracked apps can course this I think. From a quick serch around the web, it seems there was an Angry Birds crack that used that email address.

Werid. I guess it can't do any harm to your computer. It's just anoying that you've got that little red dot.

Have you tried logging into your account in the App Store app? That might get the App Store app to check your perchse history and clear it from your updates.

Tha'ts really weird i have exactly the same issue, and it's with Angry Birds. But i do have it installed.

I do have the same issue here. An Angry Birds update 1.5.1 is shown in the Updates tab and I NEVER bought this app.

Sound quite related to my update to 10.6.8. My other Mac (MacBook Air running 10.6.7) does not have this issue.

I would like Apple to investigate this as I cannot trust this AppsStore anymore in the mean time.

It seems that the 1.0.2 (build 63.1) version on the MacAppStore is to be responsible. I have also an old MacBookPro running 10.6.7 with MacAppStore 1.0.1 and he does NOT have this issue.

I even tried delteting Angry Birds and it still shows, i try to buy again and their acount comes up. Is this Apples fault?

Well it's worth a try. So do you think this is Apple or what it makes no sense why don't thousands of people have this issue.

Let me note a few things see if they match:

First Mac with issue:

Mac OS X Version 10.6.8

Mac App Store Version 1.0.2 (63.1)

Had Angry birds, deleted it still need updating.

Did not have angry birds, needs updating.

Makes appsolute no sense.

Angry birds on Snow Leopard was purchased with my own account. NOT CRACKED and then a remove and cannot install again under my own account. If i try entering my own email address in i get this:

i never bought Angry Birds on the App Store and never had any cracked software on my machine.

Both macs in my household shows the same issue. one is on 10.6.8. and the other one is on 10.6.7 !!!

What can we do seriously this is stupid!
