Why won't the audio sycn at 25fps?

I just found out that I can change an incorrect framerate of a synchronized clip by replacing the content of the clip:

Double click the synchronized clip in the Event browser, it opens in the Timeline

Remove the files from the Timeline.

First add the video and then audio manually by dragging it from the Event browser to the Timeline.

Sync the files manual.

(To check the framerate

Select the clip in the Event browser, open the Inspector Info tab.)

sync the files manually? we know that, thats exactly what we are complaining about! The fact that there is a feature called 'synchronise clips' that doesnt synchronise the 25fps footage with the audio...of course can do manually, that defeats the object.

Yeah it *****. But for us me it is a better option than recompressing the framerate to 23,98 fps.

Yes, makes sense if u have time to sync it up, I just had too many clips that needed doing so i wanted to automate a conversion to do overnight to save me messing around. Lets hope next update fixes this....now time to try and solve the other 350 glitches in the program....lol.

I have run into exactly the same problems as you being from Australia (25fps). So frustrating!

I have just tried this workflow again since the 10.0.1 update and it seems to be all sorted now.

After syncronizing, the clip is in sync and also stays at 1080p 25fps.
