How to change iCloud email address?

1) go to appleid.apple.com

2) Click on Manage your Apple ID

3) Delete or Edit the Email adress associated with your ICloud Account.

Voila...

Nope !address that I desire gone not shown in that scenario? Thus unable to delete or change address or spelling! I plan on using another strategy later. Right now dinner is on the table!

I followed the 4 steps given by gail from maine to the letter and it worked perfectly for me.

This seems to be an solution (after all hope has lost), but Apple says an alias cannot be transfered of merged to an primary account, I'm not fully understanding what does that means exactly.

i have forgotten my old icould password and for deleting its asking me old password, what should i do?

This doesn't work. It won't accept my new password to turn off "find my iphone". I know it is the current password because I can log into my apple account using it.

Anything else I can try?
