I can't print "bricks" coupons from my mac...any suggestions?

I can't print "Bricks" coupons from my macbook. I have been trying to fix it for a few hours. I know my printer is working and connected, because I can print from all other sites.

Thank you!!

Oops! Sorry. 🙂

Thanks for replying anyway!

The message is that it doesn't support my printer. It then tells me to choose the default printer and try reprinting. I only have one printer, and it is correctly chosen as the default printer. I have printed over 20 pages today alone with it as the default printer, so I know that it is installed correctly. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the coupon program just to make sure I did it correctly the first time.

The message also says: On the "Advanced" tab, make sure "Keep printed documents" is not checked.

I don't think this message is supposed to be for Mac users.

I just really love coupons, and I don't know why this bricks program is not working. I just got my Mac a few weeks ago. I had a PC and the coupons printed fine. I don't want to have to get my old PC back out every time I need a coupon. I love my Mac and I want it to be more perfect than a PC in every way! 🙂

Thanks so much for wanting to help, even if there is nothing I can do.

We might not be the best people to help. Bricks coupon printing requires additional software which is not a standard Apple product and whose software quality is unknown. This software appears to subvert the usual system for printing web pages, and many of us won't have encountered it before.

You might try de-installing the coupon software, cleaning all caches, then re-installing but I've no confidence that this will fix the issue. You might also try using FireFox instead of Safari (or vice versa), since there appears to be two different versions of the software that get installed - maybe the other one will work...

But if none of these tricks help, I think you need to contact Bricks and ask them to sort out the problems with their software.

Good luck

Bob
