My text has gone bold in all my internet browsers!
Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
Launch Font Book, validate all fonts, and resolve conflicts.

Have gone done that, still bold.....help!
Thank you, that's worked, but do I have to do that all the time now?
Now all my fonts have gone out of Fontbbok and it wont let me re-instate them.
You have to figure out which conflicting font or other system add-on that you installed is causing it.

I suggest you start by enabling guest logins and logging in as Guest after a non-safe boot (no password needed.)

If you don't have the problem in the guest account, then the cause is localized to your home folder. If you do have it in the guest account, then it's something outside your home folder that affects all users.
I had to re-instate all my fonts again but it works!!! Back to normal.......Thank you so much!!!
I'm having this problem as well though I'm not sure what to do as when I validate all fonts through font book all 160 fonts pass. I'm only having the blurred bold text through browsers.
Don't try to reopen, link to it for reference but start your own with your problem, and if it is with browser like Safari, maybe in Safari Community. But not "me too" and hijack a thread, one that is marked solved and therefore closed.
I already started my own to no help/reply. Also based on this thread it really isn't Safari at at all. I think this has a good chance to work for me as well I just need it a little clearer. If I make another now I'll just be linking to this thread to better explain it.
