Does FCPX work with stereoscopy files?

I know it sounds like a joke but is it possible?

FCP7 worked well with NEO 3D plugin. I wonder if Apple step froward into 3D stereoscopy world? Or maybe not because it can not be broadcast on youtube or iPod which seems to be a main platform for FCPX.

Thanks for keeping everyone updated with this post. I was about to buy the JVC GS-TD1, but it looks like there are way to many hoops to jump through to get this thing to work. Why are companies releasing all of these cameras when they know that the consumer is going to have a hard time editing? I guess the longer we are forced to wait, the better the cameras will be when I do purchse one.

Again, thanks for all of the info. I have bookmarked this thread and will follow up.

There is another thread (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/forumdisplay.php?f=192) on this Forum that concerns editing MVC files from the Sony HDR-TD10 and TD-20 on a Mac. Unfortunatley, at the moment there is no support by Apple for editing MVC footage nor have third party vendors been able to create plugins that allow the ingestion and editing of Sony' and JVC's MVC format on Macs. Currently I am editing footage from my Sony HDR-TD10 using Cyberlink's Power Director 10 and Vegas Pro 11 software, but these only work when running under Windows using Boot Camp. Neither will work with Windows under emulators like Parallels. The inability ot editing the MVC format on a Mac under OS X is a sad situation that I hope will change in the future.
