5 separate installs allowed?
I have been told that if I buy FCP X then I can have it installed onup to 5 machines at once.
Can anyone confirm this is legitimate for me please?
Thanks

That's what I hear just like songs in iTunes. It is linked to your Apple account though so you can go install it on a friends computer or anything.
Strictly speaking this is only true if you are a private/non-commercial/home user. Corporates need to buy licenses per seat and at the moment Apple only seems to be dealing with users of 25 seats or more.

Thanks Rod, that is what I wanted to know.

Just an FYI, there doesn't actually seem to be ANY limit to the number of installs from the App store (unlike iTunes). The problem is, at my work, we don't want to have to use different accounts on every machine we buy software for. Apple really needs a license manager in the App store so business can be legal without a big hassle (and it needs to work for less than 25 seats). Right now it's easier to buy one copy and use it on ALL our machines than it is to follow the license...and the whole original purpose of the iTunes store was so it would be easier to be legal than to not...that just isn't the case with the App store yet.
