Have been running into a problem wherein attachments sent from Apple Mail do not show up for Outlook users they are sent to. If I switch and send the same attachment via GMail for instance it shows up fine. Apple Mail locally shows the attachment as having been sent. Anyone seen this before or have any thoughts on how it might be fixed?
Holy Crap - this original post misdated 2011, it's 2016 and the problem still exists? I just had a client using Outlook tell me they did not receive my deliverable as an attachment. I use Apple Mail, tried rich and plain text - no difference. Checked the MS box in preferences - no help. terminated the code: defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing -bool YES - no help.
I'm running Yosemite 10.10.5. Apple - What gives?
Outlook is not an Apple product.
It does not run on Tiger 10.4.11 which is what this forum covers.
Your problem, hardware or software, is not the same as that of the original poster of this older thread, and it can be very confusing for everybody if we try to answer more than one question in each thread, which can also result in you applying the wrong advice to your particular problem.
