Viber activation code

Hi all,


Anyone having problem to enter their phone number to get the activation code from viber?
I'm from Malaysia and i subscribe to a new line which is +60 (country code) and XX-XXXX-XXXX

Since the new number having 10 number, but usually the old only 9 number which make viber failed to send the code to me.

Anyone having solution to this problem?

Enter the link I gave you. Now go to "Ask Viber Support" button.


Follow the steps, and see what's written there. If the problem you chose isn't known to us, or we need further information from the user in order to understand it better and investigate it, we also provide the option of opening a support ticket


For example, go to "Contact list not showing friends", and at the bottom there's an option to open a ticket.

Hi,


I am a UAE based user. I installed Viber on my iPhone 4S but do not receive the activation SMS code. It seems that viber is a blocked site. When I click on the no code button, the safari window shows the Etisalat (National Telecom unique internet provider) standard window saying that ¨This site is blocked"... So no way to access to any backup option: it looks like I am stuck.

Would you have any idea to help me (except from changing country just for the time to activate)!...

hiii . i'm from syria and
i instaled viber on my iphone 3g and get the activation code by sms and everything was ok but when i tried to call my friend it gave me a message that i need a new version for viber
so i reinstall it and get the new version but when i did that
it asked for my phone number again and when i put it and press continue it said that there is an error in my internet connection ??!! i'm using the same wifi i used it when i get the activation code for the first time , and i tried different wifi but still give me the same problem

my freind told me that i can receive the activation code by sms or by a phone call but i didn't found the last option on iphone 3g !!


can anyone tell me what i have to do please

Hi Viber Team,


I am in Australia and recently got the iphone 5 and a new number. When downloading your app I was asked for my number so I could receive the access code, I did not receive that code so I ended up pushing the 'No Code' button where it said I would get a call but ended up not getting a call, instead it forwarding me to a page saying "An error has occurred during the Viber activation process". I followed the instructions and no luck again. I have then deleted the app and downloaded again, with no luck again. Was wandering if you could help me out!

What country are you located in? Which cellular network?


Please try removing Viber, wait 24 hours, reinstall and try again (make sure you try both the SMS and the automated call options).

In addition, you may try to register to Viber with a different number (for example - your home landline number, a friend's number, etc.), in order to determine whether the problem is specific with your number, or a general one.

Today i installed viber on my ipad and activated it, i installed it on my nokia belle and it asked with the same number which is supposed to be acrivates and it sent another activation code.. And now i tried to open viber from my iPad it asked to verify my number again... Thats weird, do i have to activate everytime i use it?

At this stage, one Viber number can be assigned with only one device simultaneously. When you try registering to Viber with the same number on a second device, the first device immediately deactivates, and its data (message history, Recents, etc.) is deleted.

What you can do, however, is register your second device with a different number: your home number, an old cellphone number, family's or friends.

In future versions we are planning to add an option to register Viber on multiple devices. Once we have news on that, we'll let you know 🙂
