Go to Settings > Cellular Data and log in to your account.

You can also download the myAT&T app which lets you change any of your AT&T account settings.
I know I sound stupid :-(
But I have no recollection of entering an email address or a password. Only Billing information.
I usually make a note of such things like passwords and remember entering same.
I am getting no response from AT&T when choosing "Forgot Password".
It's not stupid.

There's an option on the lower left of the web page that says register. If you haven't entered that info before, you should be able to do it there.

When I do as you suggest, my choices are not "cellular" they are:
wireless
u-verse
internet
small business
home phone
When I try wireless, WRONG NUMBER entered
When I try Internet, WRONG NUMBER ENTERED
Which do i choose? from above choices?
And what "number" do I enter from my ipad 2?
At this point you'll probably need to call AT&T Customer Service at 1-800-331-0500. They can help with the login issue as well as with changing your plan.
