Yahoo Calendar Not Syncing

Same Issue. Deleted my Yahoo account from the iPhone, then added it back and everything is back to normal - all calendars are now there.

It works for a time but now, my yahoo calendar has disappear. I've try to delete it, and create it another time, as aimeeee, but it does not appear in my calendar's list 😕

Still have the same issue here... some machines it seems to be working on and others not. Same with various iPhones and iPads. Also anyone else have an issue where random calenders are appearing in their yahoo account...? They generally have loads of letters and numbers as a name and are empty. Getting annoyed with this now.

I'm having the same problem! I went into my calendar to edit one appointment and lost everything. It's all still on my pc but not on my iphone. This is freaking me out.

@ Richie - I had the same issue with the random calendar in Yahoo. I went to Yahoo on my pc and deleted it. I have no idea where it came from.

Fixed!!! I went into the Apple store.. they told me to delete my yahoo account

(settings/mail,contacts,calendars/yahoo/delete account) on my iphone..

then re-add it and it sync'd around midnight and have all my events back...phew!!! SO im guessing it will only sync once a day to re-populate the calendar...

Still don't see it. What does it say exactly?

I have the same problem. No events in yahoo calendar.I deleted my yahoo account and re-entered. Waiting tonight any miricle to happen! I will update tomorrow.

I've got the same problem after the OS5 upgrade. I could see events and then they would disappear from my Calendar as i was looking at it, then they would reappear. It was also creating random yahoo calendars. Now i've removed the Yahoo account and added it, but nothing . Am awaiting the miracle tonight also!.

Was at the Apple store yesterday to buy the new iPhone 4S and had them check the Yahoo calendar problem. They couldn't help. We tried deleting the account and reloadin and nothing happened. I emailed Yahoo yesterday and they have a notice up that it's a Proxy problem and they're working on it. I got some of my calendar back, but not all. Hopefully they will get it fixed.

Well I'm glad to see that I was not the only person having this issue, I also had this same issue when i upgraded to IOS5 yesterday. I've been going crazy for the last couple of hours wondering what I did wrong!

Why is it that in ITunes now you no longer see options of Calenders to sync with and we only have the option of using ICloud. I have to say it was a shock to see all the changes in the new update, some nice changes, but a warning that would have flashed in big bold letters saying "please read this before you upgrade" so you won't have a stroke when your phone looks soooo different now, would have been nice!!! love the swipe down screen that shows weather, mail, texts, games, etc..... bit of a steel from the Android but I like it!! And please while I am ranting here if Apple is listening why in the **** does ITunes have to be so difficult to use! come on people make it simple!

I finally got my issue resolved. I deleted my Yahoo account on my iPhone and then set it up again. No problems, except for a few with iCloud and my calendar. I would wake up in the morning with 5-6 new calendars and no events on them. I guess when it synced, it would add a new calendar. I tinkered with the settings in iCloud and eventually got everything to work.

I had posted several days ago that hubby was using Yahoo and that I had his calendar on my phone too and neither of us were having issues. Well, today that changed. Everything disappeared. I don't even have the option of selecting a yahoo calendar within the phone calendar even though it's turned on the mail settings.
