Show desktop gesture

Is this permanently gone in Lion? I miss four finger up for this feature. Anyone know if it's possible in Lion?

I had a lot of issues with the show desktop gesture at first but, found that if you start off with the gesture near the edges of the trackpad, it works like clockwork (at least for me).

This is more or less where I start the gesture process - i find that if you start from the center, it will not work or you may wind up invoking a different gesture altogether. I certainly prefer the 4 finger gesture in SnowLeopard but, this may work for some of you...

This is still so annoying but I just discovered the the perfect way to do it, reminiscent of the good old days of the 4 finger up-swipe:

(it may sound awkward at first but it feels almost as nice as the old way when you get used to it)

1.) position your index and middle fingers on each hand to form a loose V in the center of the trackpad

2.) slide your fingers on your left hand toward the bottom left corner as you slide the fingers on your right hand toward the top right corner.

You're welcome.

In my Mid-2012 Macbook Air, I just noticed that I have only pressed the F3 key for about 3 times in the entire 2 years since I had this laptop. The F3 key = mission control.

Anyway, I sent Apple a feedback with this and the trackpad issue.

Cheers everyone! 😢
