I've had an issue with screen savers in Lion. When my MBP plugged into power the screen saver is set to turn on 22 minutes after no activity. I've noticed today several times the screen saver has popped up in significantly less time than 22 minutes. Once in tried to pop up in the middle of scrolling through a website.

I'm getting this too. Very, very annoying. My screensaver is set to 5 minutes but it pops up every few minutes even if I'm actively using the keyboard or mouse (build in and external mouse/kb).
I guess I'l disable the screensaver for now. I need to get work done...
Exact same problem here. Popping up constantly, even when typing or moving the mouse.
Getting crazy with that screensaver suddenly. My 1Password is locking itself as well randomly, sometimes after 20sec. When I disable the option to automaticly lock after inactivity it doesn't anymore. Giving the information that Lion doesn't correctly keep track of inactivity..?
Disabled it for now, can't find any solutions yet..
I'm suprised I haven't heard more about this problem from others. Maybe it's for a specific model??? What's everyone else running? I'm on a Mid-2010 15" 2.66 Core i7 MBP with anti-glare hi-res screen.
I've disabled the screensaver for now.
My screensaver actually pops up right when my Mac gets to the login screen after logout or reboot. Then right when i login the screensaver pops up again.
I am having same issue as well. I have even SHUT OFF the screensaver function yet it still pops up. ALSO, screen is going black randomely (including as I am typing this post!!)
Running on a MPB mid 2010 i5 2.53.

I am also running a Mid-2010 MacBook Pro 2.53 GHz.
Setting the screensaver to 'Never' activate seems to have temporarily fixed the issue.
My screen was severely dimming. I unchecked "Automatically adjust brightness" in display settings. No more super dark screen.
Same issue here on a mid-2010 MBP 2.53 GHz. After booting the machine and logging in, the screensaver comes on. It also comes on intermittently even when using the machine. Hopefully we get a fix soon.
I see this too. I also am seeing a "Are you sure you want to quit all Applications and log out now?" dialog when I click on certain things or when the screensaver pops up. I can reliably get the dialog to appear when I go to Options for a screensaver and click cancel. It's weird, and making it difficult to get any work done today.
Installed Lion today on MBP (Mid 2010, 2.4 i5) and Im experiencing the same issue. It pretty annoying, when you are going to read something on screen and as soon as the mouse stops the screen saver pops up. Updates needed for Lion already??
The iTunes artwork screensaver keeps popping up randomly and DRIVING ME NUTS... it's making my work day extremely difficult....
