Does anyone recommend OS X Lion?
I've seen many comments about people having different problems and trouble with the new OS X Lion, does anyone recommend me to download it? My current OS is Mac OS X 10.6.7.
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7)

Look at the screenshot I provided, do you see where it says 'Try it today'... in blue? I'm assuming the beta is only for the iTunes compatible services.
The Notify ME button at the bottom right you are referring to is to be notified for the final, full release, I assume, not the beta.
Yes and I tried the button - you obviously didn't? It is for iTunes and has nothing to do with iCloud - I will say it again:
there is no iCloud beta version available to the public.
Of course, the notification is for the public release. I didn't assume anything when I posted - I prefer to refer to facts.
This is what you get when clicking the "try it today" link:
Yes and I tried the button - you obviously didn't?
No, I didn't. Why would I? I already have iCloud beta. You always seem to want to start a fight, Mr Babowa.
On the public page for iCloud it says 'Beta Available Now'.
In both the passages that follow those statements, the main subject is iCloud. These are facts. That's why I said:
I also see that iCloud beta is available to the general public
If the link closest to 'Beta. Available Now' says 'Try it today' but has nothing to do with iCloud, it is extremely misleading, I suggest you take it up with Apple. I'm merely reporting what it says on Apple's publicly available iCloud page.
No, I didn't. Why would I?
Because, according to the ToU, you are supposed to try things on your machine before recommending them. So, rather than making incorrect statements, it helps to check facts first.
I already have iCloud beta.
If you have iCloud beta and are mentioning it publicly, you are violating the NDA you agreed to.
You always seem to want to start a fight, Mr Babowa.
It is absurd and almost comical to call pointing out that the information you posted is incorrect and that you are violating a legal contract "starting a fight". But if doing so makes you feel better, go ahead. I prefer that people have correct information.
Edit: I don't need to take anything up with Apple; I had no problem figuring out the information on that site.
You are such a bore. I didn't recommend anything. I reported a fact - Apple's iCloud page states that the Beta is available.
I didn't violate any NDA. As you point out, the beta is available to developers. This is mentioned on the page you refer to. You mentioned it yourself. There is nothing in the NDA that says I'm not allowed to say I'm part of the developer program.
The information I posted is correct according to Apple's publicly available page. Ensuring that what the page says is correct is Apple's responsibility, not mine.
Learn to read, and grow up. Your attitude is childish in the extreme.
I keep finding missing apps on Lion! Now I find that iSync and iDVD have also gone!!! I copied iDVD from my time machine from a previous install of snow leopard and it's working fine, just drag the app from the backup to your app folders, in case you want iDVD back, iSync I wont be missing it, never used, but still kind of absenting to keep finding missing apps!!! what else they take out?!!!! I to a few more disappointing to erase Lion and install snow leopard back!!!!
I have problems with your misleading journalistic style.
😁
Is that a BETA of iTunes with iCloud, they're referring to, do you think???
Something may be misleading, but it ain't me! As I said further up this page:
I'm assuming the beta is only for the iTunes compatible services.
EDIT: I'd also like to point out the URL of this page is:http://www.apple.com/icloud/features/ (...and not iTunes).
This is the home page of iCloud that my screenshot is taken from. The page advertises features coming in iCloud. If you are a developer you will know better than us when that will be.
http://www.apple.com/uk/icloud/
That wasn't the page I linked to.
I know very well when iCloud is coming and so do you - Autumn 2011. It's also public knowledge that the beta is available to developers. What 'Beta. Available Now' refers to in the iCloud page I linked to is a mystery to me, but it's certainly confusing, as this little discussion illustrates.

Careful with assumptions, better to try for yourself
You didn't say what you do with your Mac. If you just do email and internet, like most ppl, then you will probably enjoy Lion and not notice the multitude of frustrating things about it.
If you are a professional in a production environment with a lot of files, folders, and projects, DON'T UPGRRADE TO LION... YET.
Lion does settle down. I am 73 yrs old (female) and they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks.. Wrong!
If you just take your time everything seems to fall into place. I have had Lion for a month now and I am still learning new things thanks to this community.
I think Lion is absolutely great and would not want to go back to SL. I would suggest that when you install Lion go and get the Magic Trackpad. It is awesome.
Take your time and don't try to set all the preferrences the first day.
That is odd. I have iDVD ver. 7.1.2 in Lion, but not iSync. I never used either one but I would still want the full compliment of built in apps. Seems this Lion is full of surprises, most of them not so good. SL should have gotten a traditional upgrade to Lion without all of the slick junk.
