Does anyone recommend OS X Lion?
I've seen many comments about people having different problems and trouble with the new OS X Lion, does anyone recommend me to download it? My current OS is Mac OS X 10.6.7.
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7)

Did you use any other dimensions? As ever, questions about what might or might not have been seen always refer to Einstein, for obvious reasons. However it was James Clerk Maxwell who worked out the speed of light, trying to explain the experiments of Faraday. Sadly he did not live to see proof.
Well done for introducing some light relief in this heavy thread. đ
I'm with you Cornelius. Two iMacs continuously using Lion. I have not set eyes on SL for many weeks, even although backup drives are there.

Actually it was a quick squirt through the Opera Project tube, home of the first observed particles to travel faster than light (unless Cern made a really expensive, really public mistake)
Einstein must be rattling around in his box.
HA!! After the bad experience I had in the "hunt for the Top quark" at Fermilab I can say only one thing: prove it!! đż
Not that right now it would change too much in our lives anyway. Apart from some more accurate Science Fiction movies. đ

Not only did I live in Edinburgh many years ago, I lived on the upper floors of a house on Lower Castle Street that had once been home to J.Clerk Maxwell, I saw his handwriting in some of the books that had not made it into other collections.
There were also some fine drinking establishments within an easy, if unsteady walking range. đ đ (That took care of the 'other' dimensions nicely thanks)
Fermilab is so last century, and Cern will either prove or not prove the experiment, asking me to prove it is like asking Romans to accept that the true Italians were always in Firenze, it'll cause a riot.
Ciao
I am originally from Edinburgh but it was only in the last two or three years that I visited the house near Heriot Row. They managed to get a statue to Maxwell at the East end of George Street two or three years ago. He laid the foundations for so much and would not have enjoyed reading some of the posts here. đ
I was not aware of the statue, he deserves it, thank you for posting it. đ
One year I threw a party and painted the Cosmos (well some of it) on the inside of my windows in Maxwells house, it was a fun night.
I miss Edinburgh, cold though it could be.
We"re getting away from the point. Did anybody get the number for Amy Pond? Phwoar.....

Not sure about the Doctor but I suspect Tonefox may be an Englishman, it's the Phwoar .... that tells.

Yeah, I figured as much. LOL
Nope: Maybe I should have been less impatient and waited for the next update but some things are driving me mad with frustration especially the swipe to view desktop (or Mission Control which i just find pointless) that I loved so I could switch so quickly between the many apps I have open. Now I spend a few seconds EVERY TIME trying to find which bloody desktop I have anything on. Mostly my problems are with Office 2011 though so can't blame Apple for that. The whole Office 2011 leaves me cold.
Loved Snow Leopard cos I'm not techie and it loved me. Wait a bit til any bugs are gone...
