Lion WiFi Connection Problem

Since installing Lion on both my IMac and MacBook Pro, the WiFi cycles (wifi icon on the menu bar) - looking for network - network on - looking for network. iMac with OS 10.6 doesn't have this problem so it's not the AirPort and there was no problem prior to installing Lion. The AirPort Utility log shows lots of connection activity but I don't know if that means anything. The network troubleshooter says theres no problem but it's causing big problems with connection speed and applications that need a constant connection are giving me network errors constantly. Please give me some advise....

My PowerBook G4 sitting on my left is on Snow Leopard... The iMac12,2 that I'm typing on is using Mavericks. When the PowerBook G4 goes to sleep it does not loose WiFi connection to my Apple Airport 2TB Time Capsule. When it wakes from sleep, all four WiFi bars are solid and Safari and Mail for example are immediately functional and perform their programming flawlessly.

When this new computer wakes from sleep, it takes between 8 to 15 seconds for the WiFi icon on the upper right menu bar to go through it's pretty little wave action and finally join the WiFi network... While this happens, the iMac is disconnected from the router and has no internet functionality. This is the same network the PowerBook G4 on my left is connected to... A circa 2005 laptop running OS X 10.5.8 stays connected and this late 2011 iMac running 10.9.5 looses it's connection while sleeping, resulting in Safari error message, "You are not connected to the internet", Mail error icons for accounts that are not connected to the internet. With every new update, Apple screws up more programming.

Each new computer gets introduce new programming bugs. Apple needs to stop all hardware production and go back and fix all these annoying broken programs.
