Dymo Label Printers and Lion

Dymo's website says Dymo does not support Lion. I have a 450 Twin Turbo that now does not work with Lion. Has anyone found a workaround until Dymo updates their drivers?

Installed new drivers, however could not select the 320 as rien says. Tried a few others from the options like 400 label printer.

Will at least print now, but not correct. Leaving lines & only work around I could find to get one complte lable of was to press the feed button on the 320 to then feed out 2 more labels. Last one came out just about useable.

I think Dymo could well be forcing me to buy a newer label printer!!!

Hi, I am running OSX 10.6.8 and want to upgrade to Lion and continue using my Dymo Labelwriter, so I have downloaded the new 8.3.1 update but it will not install on my iMac, I have tried it many times and the same problem happens each time, it gets to: 'Running package scripts - Install time remaining: Less than a minute' and just hangs.

The installer is still active (no freeze) but does not progress any further than this and never completes the V.8 software installation. I have tried on a newly rebooted mac (16GB RAM) with no other software running, no dymo printer attached, I have tried deleting the com.dymo.dsl.shell.plist and com.dymo.dymor.plist files as well and also removed and re-adding the dymo printer but nothing seems to work. The installer always hangs when it gets to one minute remaining. Until this issue is resolved and I can update to a Lion compatible dymo software I cannot upgrade to Lion because I use the dymo printer every day for my business. If anyone else has experienced this issue please reply - thanks!
