Good conga/bongo/tribal drum/percussion samples

Can anyone recommend some sample libraries I should check out for these types of sounds/grooves? Thanks

There are so many out there. TBH I'm yet to find an utterly useless sound library, they all tend to have about the same amount of usefulness. What type of music are they for?

My advice is to get down to your local library, get 8 cd's out of the "world" section and sample them beats! Then repeat... and repeat... and find a new library... then repeat again... if you want indian percussion... find the "indian" section... etc

Hate to say it but you get far more original loops and better grooves this way (IMHO), rather than relying on the stock dum pe cha pe dum pe cha.

Cut samples up and make your own too; use bongos/percussion chopped up finely to make new grooves, and do the same with the loops you borrow from the library LOL

Hope this helps,

Best,

Mickey.

our organization makes drum loops and samples that
are used on alot of tribal & tech house songs. Let
us know if your interested in making a purchase.

our sample kit per month runs around $7.00 $12.00

it's well worth the while if you are dedicated dance
maker.

email is westernmix@aol.com

Hi there Logic Pro Guy,

I read your below message and must say I'm interested to know what your organisation has to offer.
Drop me a line.

Thanks.
