Plug-In Failure in Netflix.

I updated Safari to 5.1 today, and my Netflix Instant has stopped working. It will show the circles as loading, then it may or may not flash the red Netflix screen which will disappear and in its place will be a 'Plug-in Failure' box. More often than not, it will skip the Netflix screen and either be blank or have the 'Plug-In Failure' box. I tried searching 'Netflix Plug-In Failure Safari 5.1' and all of the websites say that this problem has been fixed. Obviously not. As a side note, my Safari seems to be running slower, even though I have full bars in Airport. I don't know whether this is a symptom or a side effect. Everything else seems to be running fine.

I had the same problem and I did the same update. All you need to do is update the plug-in Silverlight.

That should do it

I have the same problem,but it is a pluggin in issue not Safari 5.1 this problem shows up in FireFox browser as well.

Two work arounds;

1. As it has been stated go to system preferences-->energy saver

uncheck automatic graphics switching

This works put does drain battery quicker.

2. Go to the apps folder and launch silverlightand leave it alone on the spring board.

Now launch netflix full screen and it will work.

Hopefully a patch by the culprit will come soon.
