I just downloaded the latest version of itunes, 10.4, and when I try to open it, I get the message,
"Running itunes in 64 bit mode requires MAC OS X 10.7 or later. To run itunes in 32-bit mode, select the itunes application in the Finder, choose the "get info" command int he file menu, and check the "open in 32-bit mode" checkbox in the itunes info window."
Well, I don't have that checkbox option. Help?

I simply re-downloaded iTunes form apples website here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
It re-installed iTunes and I was back up and running.

Try to use XSlimmer. I had the same problem and Xslimmer removed the 64-bit ballast. Next time when I run iTunes, it's been OK.

I had same problem. Tried re-installing and that didn't work. Then just went into "get info" and checked 32-bit mode. That worked for now but when will we be able to open it in 64-bit mode?
