DigitalColor Meter with hex codes?

I'm just wondering if anyone has found a way to get hex codes back in DigitalColor Meter or knows of a suitable replacement for the 10.7 version that removed hex codes?

I use DCM almost daily for hex codes and am completely baffeled as to why this was removed from the 10.7 version.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, *what is this?*

Jav, NOT a picker, but a selector. This is not that, what Apple Users need - this (a selector) they have in every good application. What should I do with a selector when I need a picker to get values about a particular color anywhere on the screen? Sorry, Jav, no better message. Spent downloading minipicker to much time and money to the telefonist company, sorry.

I am really as mad as a hornet of that thing what Apple did with the digital color picker. Waiting for repair on the next update.

hey, guys,

i've been using quite often the DCM and i was a bit shocked to see it's not working anymore. so i've turned to xScope which among other things also has a color picker (same hotkey as DCM actually).

but then i found something in DCM... 🙂

launch DCM then go to the View menu > Display values and choose hex. and it should be back the way it was.

didn't read to careful through these threads so sorry if someone else posted this already.
