MBP & Lion with external monitor crashes!

I've got Little Snitch, Dropbox, DevonThink helper, Watts - just think, anyone thought about Dashboard? I've got iStat Pro running there.

I've been going without an external monitor today. As I lecture and often need a projector, it's driving me crazy.

However, I've also had crashes without an external monitor. Eg while AppStore tries to download Xcode, with FontExplorer X Pro and InDesign.

Any ideas?

Yep, I am getting exactly the same message in console. How about the others?

just open "console". If you can't find it, just use spotlight

Does anyone also use InsomniaT on his machine? https://bugs.launchpad.net/insomniat/+bug/804321

Gentlemen! Removing InsomniaT solved it for me. It seems to work just fine now, and the error messages, the high CPU load and the freezes are gone.

What I did was to download the latest InsomniaT installer and use the uninstall option. Empty trash and do a restart and that's it!

I use InsomniaT too. Turning it on seems to solve the problem. A workaround anyway. In fact, I can now turn it off and everything still works with my external display. Anyone else?

Thanks to you, grinnan, who pointed me to the error messages in console. After a quick Google search, I found the InsomniaT reference. 🙂

I don't use Insomnia. What does it do? Perhaps I have a similar process.
