Internet Sharing not working after Lion install

Hi,

I've just upgraded to Lion and I can't get internet sharing, which was working brilliantly in Snow Leopard, to work at all.

I have reset it numerous times, changed the passwords, created new accounts but I still can't get it to work.

I use it as my home and office network and it is very important.

If anyone has had any similar problems I would be much obliged if you could share some light on this. I have read other people having issues, some managed to resolve them. But I have had no joy.

Any brave soul out there have any brilliant ideas?

I was killing myself, found the fix for those of you who are sharing your WIFI connection over Ethernet, which is backwards from what most posts were doing.

I turned off all internet connection sharing.

I deleted the following files:

/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.nat.plist /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.airport.preferences.plist

restarted

Turned on internet connection sharing

Boom, now I can AGAIN, share the WIFI internet from my iMac to my ethernet connected MBP...Hope this works for others, OH, this is an old thread!!!! oh well, still adding to the knowledge base I guess.
