I am having problems importing playlists in iTunes 10.4
OS: Windows XP SP3
Itunes: 10.4
Samba 3.x
=============
My music is saved on a Samba server on my network. I have imported all my music into iTunes by pointing my home folder to the Samba share and then using "Add folder to library" in the file menu. The actual files stay on my Samba share, not my local drive.
I have created a new playlist with a single song. I can open and close iTunes and the playlist is still there. Everything works great.
Then things get weird:
1] I export the playlist as an m3u file and save it on my local drive
2] I delete the playlist from iTunes
3] I import the same m3u file I just saved
When I do this my playlist comes up blank. When I view the file generated by iTunes in a text editor, the path is correct:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:378,Lost On Yer Merry Way - Grandaddy
Z:\media\music\Grandaddy\Sumday\05 Lost On Yer Merry Way.mp3
Can anyone explain what's happening here? Why can't iTunes import the same playlist it just exported?

DISCLAIMER: Please do not respond with "Why are you doing this?" I am actually trying to do something a little more complex, but I just wanted to explain my problem by giving the most simple scenerio possible. If you can solve the above problem, I will be able to figure out my actual problem on my own. Thank you.
