Where has the 'bounce email' feature gone from Lion?

Because the address does not belong to the spammer, it belongs to some poor soul who's been spoofed by a spammer, you just make his day worse when you bounce it.

Most SPAM is sent with a spoofed return address of the hacked account instead of the actual SPAMMER's address. So if you bounce the SPAMMER see nothing. It is the poor slob who account has been hack that you are now SPAMMING with your bounce. Hence the reason for the demise of bounce.

I was aware of this reason and I certainly don't want to facilitate more spam.

I think your chances of seeing bounce return are nil.

After migrating to Lion and jumping from no spam to up to 50 spam emails a day, I finally stumbled onto a site that gives instructions on how to install bounce onto Lion. I followed the instructions and now have full bounce ability in Lion. Seems to work without a hitch. http://512pixels.net/return-bounce-lion-mail/

I don't know of a 100% reliable way of dealing with spam, but I do know that sending your spam to some other random person, one who is most likely to be innocent of sending spam just isn't it.
