I followed all the procedure and installed on my Acer Aspire EasyStore, using fun_plug hack, both AFP and Bonjour Services (via Avahi)

Be sure to use the latest version of both NetTalk & Berkley DB and be sure to include cnid_metad in the startup script.

Now it works like a charm.

• Update firmware to 2.5 (remember to backup your data, after a powerfailure crash I remembered how important this is)

  • and add one or more of the follwing lines (depending on how many volumes you have

    /mnt/HD_d2 Volume_4
• I use Volume_4 as my Timemachine drive and it works as a sharm.

• in AppleVolumes.default add tm to the following line:
  :DEFAULT: options:upriv,usedots,tm
• and add one or more of the follwing lines (depending on how many volumes you have

  /mnt/HD_b2 Volume_2
  /mnt/HD_c2 Volume_3

I have the exact same problem, also using a CH3HNAS ... anyone has any other solution?

should fun_plug resolve the problem on the NAS referenced in this topic ?

Any luck with your Verbatim NAS?

I am have the same problem on a brand new iMac with Lion. I used Verbatim NAS for half a year on a windows, but I cannot access it from mac 😟
