Regular Expose in Lion

Does anyone know how to fix expose in Lion to show all windows? (like it did in version 10.6 - through version "the dawn of time")

What I would prefer is a terminal code to make this the default behavior for expose for all users under all circumstances.

Anyone?

Thanks Bill,

I ended up doing a fresh install of SL last night, and installed an app which does the only thing I did like about Lion, the inverted scrolling - http://blog.pilotmoon.com/post/4041089648/scroll-reverser-get-in-practice-for-li on.

Now its perfect, so nice to back to a functional os.

And Lion is still available for me to redownload at no extra cost, if and when I choose to get it again...if they ever fix the these issues.

dwb and all,

The feature offered by Expose that I relied upon for increased productivity is switching windows automatically to the app I now need.

It appears this may be a bug.

I use a browser-based database for my work, which offers a link to "send an email". In SL the email would be generated and the Space would move me to the screen I use for MAIL.

In Lion I am experiencing that these messages I've generated appear to be "stuck" between desktops (spaces).

Any fixes known?

There is a known issue with Safari getting 'stuck' more like lost and it is fixed by showing Safari in all Windows temporarily then switching it back to show in this window. Is this the bug you are referring to? I've seen a couple other programs mentioned but it seems to affect Safari most often. If this isn't it, try describing it a gain. I'm slow sometimes, but I usually finish the race.

thanks for getting back on this dwb!

I was using Firefox 6.0.2.

Typically when I clicked "send email" from a webform SL would switch me over to the "desktop" or "space" that I was running Mail on, and then create a new message for me to send.

Since installing Lion my experience is that it will work if both apps are in the same space, but if Mail is on a different "space" or "desktop" then these created messages are not accessible. I know they were actually created because when I hit <cmd> <arrow> I see them between my desktop/spaces.

Does that make sense?

** Came in this AM, and did not experience the issue ** I'm a genius, I fixed it!

Has anyone figured this ?

Expose WAS useful now it's painful.

Somethings when you get them right you should NOT F with it. Apple!

Why I cannot see my 6 desktops and drag windows or arrange them in that view any longer?! ****** off.

I know this thread is outdated but it should not be... again... am I missing something?

Please bring back my old Expose! It was one of the main things when I showed Windows users that they were like... WOW!

Now it's just fing lame.

to dwb...

Just see the number of threads and googleing about `expose mission control'. There are so many people complaining about the new mission control...

I almost throw my mouse... Mission control is really painful for some people like me... maybe mac pro users...

I generally open 20-30 windows simultaneously using 9-16 spaces... In this case, mission control is a nightmare... You should not say like this

"3) everyone here is a user. Go here to register your complaint"

without knowing this kind of situation.

It is really really a big pain, totally different from crashing Safari or such...

AND

For,

1) if you think this was post Jobs I'm betting you were wrong.

the first impression of mission control is too away from what I have got.

During the last year of Jobs, he focused on iCloud and the new apple building.

I don't think he could invest time on this UI, because it is far from the apple's spirit of minimalism.
