I was trying to enter some of the new Emoji characters in Lion into a Pages document, but all it displays are blank spaces. It correctly changes the font, but doesn't display anything. Entering Emoji in TextEdit works (through the special characters palette). I'm running the latest Version of iWork (Update 6). Any suggestions?

If you do a detour like copy (or drag) the emoji in Omni Graffle or Text Edit and take it from there, it works fine. May that helps

I cannot duplicate your experience. Inputting an emoji in TextEdit and then trying to copy/paste or drag to Pages still gives me a blank space in Pages. Please use the camera icon to post a screenshot of one of Apple's color emoji being displayed by Pages on your machine.
Hi there.... I've the same problem.. I want to make a Pages document with some mails sended by the iphone/ipad... Cpoy and paste of the mail body doesn't paste the emojisssss... I want also them....???
What we can do...?? Oviosly my Mac as 10,8,4 ML and 4,3 pages version (the latest,,,)

Nothing. Pages does not yet support the color emoji font. If black/white is acceptable, you can download and install a font like Symbola.
