My iTunes Keeps Getting Disabled

This is DRIVING me crazy...! Every time I go to install an app from iTunes or update my apps I get a pop up window that says my account has been disabled. I have to go through the process of changing my password every single time I'm dealing with iTunes. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Yes, exactly what I have to do every time. But the only things that are touching my Apple ID is my iPhone and iTunes account. I dont' have mobile me and as far as I'm aware I am the only person who is entering my username and password, which up until recently has been correct 100% of the time.


Now, I might not have mentioned this, but this started happening right after I updated iTunes to version 10.3.1.
