Is there anyway to merge multiple accounts into a single iTune account?

I, too, have multiple accounts. What a hassle! Everytime I want to update apps, I have to figure out which account to use.
All was well until iCloud and I had to creat another account because of problems moving from MobileMe. My fear is that when Apple kills MobileMe I'll have to create yet another account!

Absolutely. I am so fed up with this. Apple insisted I change my apple id to an email address and then make it really annoying to access apps. It doesn't make any sense except if they get a kick out of punishing their loyal customers
Why not just use the same password for your "multiple" accounts? Then you don't have to remember which one is the issue. I know this goes against security, but you are looking for a method of consolidating Apple ID's which is not an option.
My AppleID has always been an email address. When I wanted to use a different address I simply changed it and kept the same account.
