Kernel: IOSurface buffer allocation size is zero

I tend to receive the above message when listening to Itunes, this message can cause itunes to pause the music and sometimes cause the whole system to crash. Although it does not affect spotify.

I have only recently found out what the problem is, this problem has been going on for a long time. it does get annoying after sometime that your music pauses.

The list of text below has been copied from my Kernel.log and shows that this problem is quite prominent.

Would there be a olution to this? I have previously reinstalled my Operating system, after the reinstallation the problem occurs again. Even after an upgrade to OS X Lion the problem is still there

I noticed this for the first time today, I had pandora open in safari and when I closed it the error stopped. I hadn't used pandora since they switched to their new interface, it was performing horribly, very choppy, so I paused it but never closed the browser tab.

It didn't slow down my computer noticably but I do have a 2011 imac built to order with good specs. I looked at it with built-with and it uses pretty much every plugin there is so I don't know what is causing it :\

Edited to add:

Happens in both safari and chrome although signifigantly less often in chrome. I was getting an error every second in safari. Only happens every couple of minutes in chrome

Oct 5, 2011 12:34 PM in response to andrew011

I doubt if it's due to Pandora Loly. I suspect it's due to a Flash and Safari problem, maybe with the way Safari 5.1 and Lion, or Snow Leopard Sand-Boxing applications. I tried FireFOX, but it too had problems and produced this message, among other weirdities. Only Camino and OmniWeb are functioning normally and causing no strange messages like the one that is the topic of this thread.

Oct 18, 2011 2:51 PM in response to andrew011

This must be a web-kit problem as it occurs repeatedly with Safari, Chrome and Omni-Web when viewing a Flash site. However the older Omni-web's did not have the problem as it uses a stand-alone and older version of web-kit.

I have been using Firefox 7.0 and 7.01 for 4 days now and have not seen it since. I never saw it with Firefox 6 either, just a bunch of weird debugging messages, but never this kernel message.

Oct 29, 2011 10:49 PM in response to andrew011

Sorry, I don't have a solution either, just a "same here" from me as well unfortunately.

Someone said they get the message "every second", that's not bad considering I get several every second, here's a view from my log, and to say that this is "greek to me" is an understatement:
