screen suddenly goes color crazy and machine freezes!

Had a strange issue recently, the 2nd of such events which basically rendered my computer unusable. Started on Monday after a system update, screen started flashing colors and gradients of gray and then just froze. I reinstalled system software and everything seemed to be ok until about 1/2 hour ago, when it happened again. This time I took pictures and did a screen grab of the apple error report. I'm hoping that I have a software issue rather than a motherboard or other hardware related problem.

Ay advice?

Nothing else much at all, just the graphic drivers having trouble, likely due to the card/logic board.

Get it in quick! 🙂

Glad to report I'm writing this from my Macbook Pro, newly restored and feeling like new. Apple really came through for me again, and the repair process was smooth and efficient. Thanks for your help in what could have been a $600 repair, had I not been aware of the problem.
