How do i mass delete emails?

From the Inbox there is no way.
If you want such a feature send feedback to Apple at http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html
You don't. You delete one at a time or highlight 5 at a time & delete. Once in trash you can delete them all at once.
Not entirely correct. While in the Inbox, using the Edit button you can then check as many emails as you want and then click delete. You are not limited to 5. Just roll the screen to see the next five at a time, click delete on each one and continue. I do notice you need to be a bit careful with touching in the wrong place when you have a lot of them slected as it may unselect all of them and you have to start over.
DD
Yes, I can confirm DD's post, I use this bulk method all the time for mails as well as cleaning up text messages.
Well, of course you can individually mark each email and then hit delete to remove them all, but who wants to go through all that tedius work? It's ridiculous that there is no "delete all" button. It's the only email app in the world without one! Furthermore, there is a "Delete All" if you're in the TRASH box, but not in the INBOX or SENT!

You don't. It's an iPhone. You only do what Apple says you can do.

Complained about since day 1...
According to some moderators on this forum, it's your fault because you don't manage your mails correctly !

Typical, blame the user in an attempt to cover the inadequate and incomplete software.
do you think Steve Jobs would tolerate this lack of attention to detail. this would have been fixed
I think they need to add a delete all button for sure but the only way I have found to be able to delete all is by logging into my email from a computer
But what if you don't want to delete them all, but only, for example, emails older than 3 months? I have almost 5,000 emails in my inbox. It would take me a year to delete them one by one, even using the edit function. Someone please help us.
