Remove Scroll Bouncing in Lion

I have a macbook pro - in Lion when I'm finger scrolling on my trackpad in Safari and I get to the top of bottom of a page the scroll "bounces" - so annoying. I just want it to be normal like in snow leopard. How do I disable this bouncing?

Alex,

Thanks for the reply. That just indeed *****. I've been a Mac user for 15+ years and haven't owned a PC since I bought my first Mac. I haven't really had any complaints until this latest release. I've converted several people from PC users to Mac.

Since I don't use Safari, iTunes is really my only problem with bounce/rubber band scrolling. I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed that the next upgrade gets rid of the problem!

Thanks again,

Denise

Cross-post: I just figured out the best way to completely eliminate this horrible UI behavior: get a new mouse. The rubber band thing appears to only happen when you're using a track-pad or similar. The magic mouse touch surface works like a track-pad. Ditch that sucker, go get a traditional mouse with scroll-wheel, rubber-banding is gone!!!!! Also the super distracting and annoying sideways scrolling that you can't turn off is also gone. I may finally upgrade from 10.6.8 now that I've found a solution.
