Since updating Snow Leopard to Lion, Safari has been displaying strings of boxed A's where readable text should be. I have not altered the fonts since the upgrade. Firefox behaves normally. Can someone tell me how to fix this? Thanks

That certainly works... but seems to be a short term fix, for me, and many others.
I've only just wiped out font cache using Onyx, and Safari is looking fine again. Have yet to give it time to discover it not lasting long.
Not sure if it's important, but for the record I use Fontcase over Font Book.
