Time Capsule & iCloud

Hi there.

I know that maybe it's a little bit too early to ask about iCloud but I was wondering if the following case is possible or not.

Right now you can use your "me.com" account to access your Time Capsule via internet while your are remote. I was wondering if it is also the same case

for iCloud? Can we use iCloud's username password to do the same thing? (Any developers who have tried this?)

My Time Capsule/iCloud/BTTM works seamlessly now .... after exhaustive work ... (I have two time capsules and 3 Macs in the USA and Europe so this was important to me...)

Revert all of your keychains to their default .... as soon as I did this it immediately connected to the BTTM machines in USA and UK.

goto Applications - run Keychain Access - click Keychain Access menu - goto Preferences and select Reset to Default......

I'm assuming here that you have all the other prerequisites for remote Time Capsule access established first such as 1. the TC is your DHCP server, 2. Your prefs/iCloud systems prefs are set to enabled BTMM, 3. You have the latest Airport Base Station software and your icloud account details and remote access are enabled, and remote access is set. 4. You don't have any conflicting DHCP devices on your network - for instance I had a Vonage box which was acting as a DHCP server as well the DHCP server/portion I turned off to make sure the TC was in controll of this assignment.

The TC will be the DHCP sever by default (this just means that it is the Devi e on your network that will assign the IP addresses to the other devices on the network) so you shouldn't have to do anything, although if other devices are also assigned as the DHCP server (like in my case the onage box) then they conflict !

To check your TC ... GoTo airport utility, select your TC, click Edit, select Network tab then jut make sure the "router mode" is DHCP & NAT
