Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Running Safari 5.1 (6534.50) with the latest update which came thu about 10 days ago. Since then whenever I switch sites from the top sites shortcut the screen pixellates before switching.
This didn't happen before the most recent update and while it hasn't yet caused a freeze I feel it may only be a matter of time.
This dosen't happen with any other application
Running imac with 3.06 dualcore 4 gb ram osx 10.6.8

Go to ~/Library/Safari.
Move the TopSites.plist file from the Safari folder to the Trash.
Restart your Mac.
~ (Tilde) character represents your Home folder.

Thanks for your quick reply Carolyn and apologies for being a bit dim - would I actually be deleting the top sites I have saved and starting from scratch in that case?
Have tried your suggestion Carolyn and it seems to have made things better - just the odd pixel appearance.
