Private and company account

How can I use and pay for both private and business software I use on the same Mac? Can I use two different accounts and billing info on the same Mac using the same user?

I actually have the same issue with my iPhone, I'd like to decide which apps I buy and pay with my private account and with my business account using the same phone, or is this not possible?

thanks

Henk

You will need to establish two separate Apple IDs; one as a consumer account, one for your business account. You can use these same Apple IDs in both the MAS and the iTunes stores. So you can use the consumer account to buy apps for your Mac in the MAS and apps for your iOS devices in the iTunes stores; Itunes Store, iTunes App Store and iBookstore. The same would apply to your business Apple ID.

You can use apps from both accounts on the same device. When an app that you bought as private use needs an update you need to log into your private Apple ID. When an app that you bought with the business account needs an update you would need to log into the business Apple ID.
