Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I recently moved my event folder to a new hard drive (an ordeal in itself) and I finally got things to work. However, now in my event library there is a little exclamation mark in a yellow triangle next to the event icon. What exactly does this mean? all of the media seems to be properly linked and I can't find any problems with it warranting an icon like that, but it has me nervous.
Anyone know?
FCPX 10.0.7 I too had a Yellow! triangle on an Event folder for no apparent reason. All 3 clips are working perfectly. No disconnects. But the triangle persists. None of the 3 clips were being used in the timeline - so, I moved all 3 clips to the trash, quit FCPX, emptied the trash and relaunched FCPX. The now empty Event folder still displays the Yellow! triangle . . .
Wait there's more: I had been looking at the contents of this Events folder in the FilmStrip view - no files - an empty Event folder. Then I switched to List View - a disconnected clip suddenly appeared in the "empty" Event folder. This mystery clip also had a Yellow! triangle (not a Red icon).
So, I clicked this newly discovered disconnected clip an moved it to the Trash. The Event folder is now normal - no yellow warning triangle.

I haven't yet. I can but I do want the media to be stored within the Library. Perhaps I should do what you're suggesting and then "consolidate" files to the library?
Daniel, I realize you're probably way past this problem by now but thought I'd add to the post because I had a similar issue and I realized that it was because I had missing Proxy media. All of my original clips were there, but when I switched to Proxy mode I realized about 6 of my clips were missing the proxy and had the red Offline Media icon. I missed this at first because when I switched to proxy mode they didn't appear with red Offline Media icons right away, I'm not sure actually how long it took but when I scanned through the event a few minutes after switching to Proxy Mode I saw the offline clips. I'm regenerating the Proxy media now, so not a hundred percent sure this is the solution, but seems pretty certain to be, at least for me.
This was my problem as well and switching from "Hide Rejected Clips" to "All Clips" showed me the rejected files. Just had to delete those and that fixed the issue. Thanks!
Discover any solution with this Daniel? I received the same exclamation mark but none of my clips are missing. Happened when moving the event to an external drive...
yeah I'm having the same issue. Yellow exclamation mark, I checked all the clips in the event and they are ok. But for some reason because my final cut pro X working files are on an external drive it seems to have this issue.
Does anyone know how to fix it.
FYI - I had this same problem.
All my files were linked properly - i looked at every single file, but there was still a yellow exclamation point on the event folder.

I figured out a simple fix though.
I created a new event and then just moved the project and then all the content from the old event to the new event. Now, the new event has all the same content, but no exclamation point.
