wrist rest for Wireless Keyboard?

Now that I've switched from a PC to an iMac with the Apple Wireless Keyboard, my old wrist rest is much too thick. Can you recommend a wrist rest that does the job yet is suitably thin to match the low profile of the front of the Apple Wireless Keyboard?

I'm the person behind the JS Designs wrist rests. I created these wrist rests because I had the same problem you're facing- there wasn't anything else available. They've only been on the market for about a week and the first units have just arrived in customers' hands, so I hope to see some reviews soon. If you give one a try, I'll be happy to work with you to ensure you're satisfied.

JS Designs also makes a wrist rest originally intended for an Apple wired keyboard. It's just the right length to extend the width of the Magic Trackpad when the latter is placed alongside the Apple wireless keyboard. (It ever so slightly longer than the sum of the widths of the two, so you don't have to push the trackpad right up against the keyboard.)

the existing wrist rest won't work for me, I use a wired keyboard, need the full numeric keypad and have had nothing but problems with the wireless ones. And even if I did use it, I never have my trackball or trackpad parallel to the keyboard anyway.

Wish the wrist rest for the trackpad was available now. If I haven't found something else I like by then I'll check yours out. I have no idea how to send you a note, though.

if you can, put rmathes1ATmeDOTcom on your list.

We do have another option. Starting tomorrow, we'll be liquidating our "B-Stock" (or "factory second") imperfect large wrist rests. These units tend to have rough edges and we can't sell them at full price. If you want to buy one and trim it to size, you can use coupon code 2NDGRADE at Amazon (MurrayE has the link above) starting on 9 December 2011 and get one for only $7.99.

Since there's not an easy way to contact forum members, just post a note here if you're interested, turn on email notifications for thread updates, and we'll post a message when the wrist rests for Magic Trackpad are available.

Thanks everyone!

We've been making standard wrist pads and wrist rests for years and we're about to release some that are .25 and .5 inches thick for a variety of thinner keyboards instead of the standard .75 thickness. We are also looking at doing some super fat pads (8 inches wide). We're looking for 10-20 people to test these so if you want shoot me an email I'll add you to the list...first come, first serve to 20 people. phil at grifiti.com is my email. http://grifiti.com is our site. Our standard products are always super cheap on Amazon, too.
