I'd like to share a Thunderbolt display with my MacMini and MacBook Pro. The MacBook would presumably be connected periodically via the Thunderbolt / power cable from the display. Can I connect the MacMini via the Thunderbolt port on the back of the display?

The TB Display will accept video input via either the attached TB cable or the rear TB port. It will use the last powered TB input as the source. When switching between my Mini (which is connected via the rear TB port) or my MB Pro (which I connect via the attached TB cable) I will either disconnect the MB Pro to release input to the Mini or power off the Mini to release input to the MB Pro. Occasionally the TB Display gets confused and I have to disconnect the TB cable from the rear TB port to reset the active input.
I got another TB cable and have both my Mini and Air now connected to my TB Display. The only way I can get my display to switch to a different computer is by discconnecting one. This is a pain and less than ideal.
What you want is a KVM swtich. However, they don't make one that works with the Thunderbold display. They do have one that works with the Apple Cinema Display over mini DisplayPort. From the Amazon reviews, people have used it successfully. It is the Kanes SnapX.
